the natural kind is good. the synthetic variant is 50% of a molecule that is foreign to the body & can wreak havoc if ingested chronically, just as is alpha lipoic acid. gelatin is good and healthy. just don't overdo it & you should be fine. I'll try to get an essay on chirality up somethime soon.
