My son has type 1 diabetes, although I haven't been able to cure him yet and he is not willing to undergo drastic measures such as fasting etc etc..He is only 11, but I have had some really great success. His insulin dosage is the same as it was a year ago. and he rid himself of constipation and he had oozing ear wax all his life. And now that is gone also.
My point is, He is a mirror on what we should eat. Like a human tester. I see exactly the way a normal person would react to certain foods in him. But a normal person would not notice because the body regulates insulin on it's own. High Fructose Corn Syrup is a major contributing factor for diabetes. If he so much as eats ANYTHING with that in it? even if it's just a tablespoon of ice cream.
His blood sugar skyrockets to 300 -400 or higher and I CANNOT control it for at least a full day. So any food with HFCS is a big NO NO for him and should be for everyone.
Normal blood sugar levels are 80-120 BTW .. HFCS is way worse on him than regular sugar is.
Right now he is only taking Barefoots dewormer, Pancreas balance and Lower bowel balance and fish oil caps. I cut back on all the stuff for now. And he eats mostly organic food. He eats nothing from school. Their food was causing his blood sugar to stay well over 300 everyday. I am sorry but the school food program is making kids more fat than their parents probably are. It is still really bad.
