There are many thoughts on this issue. I had to decide for myself what I thought was the best approach and of course I chose conservative as he was my baby. I even took this "low and slow" to my sons doctor and told him I did not want to do the every 8 hour protocol and why. He smiled at me and said that it made great sense and so that is what we did. (one of the few great doctors out there).

We also did lots of mineral supplimentation during chelation and liver support.

cleaning up his gut was a major factor in his getting well because the heavy metals disrupted his enzyme function and promoted candida. It was a catch 22 or chicken and egg game...the candida did a lot of damage so we tried to eliminate it but the heavy metals seemed to be symbiotic with the candida so we had to nail that at the same time. When we were not chelating we were doing candida therapy.

Just a note: I read for almost 6 months on the autism/mercury board before I felt comfortable enough to start any chelation. people need to arm themselves with as much info as they can to make informed choices BEFORE they start.

I did NOT just blindly follow a doctor as it was allopathic medicine that got us to this situation in the first place. I was just lucky enough to have a very open minded doctor helping us who was more hollistic than main stream.

Lastly it isn't heavy metals alone from the vaccinations that cause this catastrophe...it is the diseases themselves that are just as harmful. It is twofold. Our little babies bodies cannot handle getting measles, mumps and rubella all in the same day, my one day old baby did NOT need Hep B vaccine! The poisons pumped into them by the time they are 2 is horrifying. My son had 26 different vaccinations jabbed into him by the time he was 18 months.

That is when I said STOP! I saw changes immediately after his 18month MMR.
