clove oil on gauze worked for me..and zapping really helped..
I also heard that baking soda put on the affected tooth will cause the nerve to die but I personally have no proof that it works as I havent tried it myself.. heard it is painfull for a few minutes though..and then pain goes away.....
I personally know your pain as I have been thru it quite often...
