Re: Can't I just go to the ER and have it removed???

I had my Mirena put in on 7/25/07 and last week started to question what was happening to me only to find out about all of the terrible side effects (mood swings and weight gain, etc.) I called my doc immediately and they were very, very supportive. I had mine taken out today (my string had gone up inside but she was still able to pull it out, thankfully.) Why can't you go and have your gyn remove it? I would think the ER could be a long and miserable wait. Good luck. Tweet
