I've been to Normany and seen and felt the death. I've been to Guam, Okaniwa, Truk, and seen the graves and felt the death. I've buried my marines, and they still haunt me.
I live across the street from the Russian War Memorial I see old Soviet Vet with tears in there eyes. Every May 9 Victory Day, I sit with the vets here and listen to there stories. War is real, the problem is the rational mind can not imagine the agony and stuffering.
The media has always had its own view of war, being with Walter Cronkite and the Twenty Century, Navy Log etc.
