Am I the only one who finds it odd that the title of this "Catholic World News" article 'suggests' "PRAY to Allah"? (capitals added)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous -- 1 John 5:3

Also, where in Scripture is God referred to as Allah? Isn't Allah a different entity than the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob? And where in Scripture does the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob give us permission to call Him Allah?

In reference to Jesus, Acts 4:12 states the following:

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
