Re: Loneliness Is Bad for Your Health

Luella, I am familiar with "The Secret". I actually bought the DVD and watched it 3 times. I guess that is not enough; because I'm not convinced yet. Somehow, the Law of Attraction just seems so esoteric to me; close to the realm of parapsychology.

On the other hand, now that I'm retired, I feel that I need to adjust my budget to portfolio related income. I also grew up in a poor family; so by nature, I'm quite frugal. Recently, capitalistic things have been falling into place quite nicely. Maybe I should play the lottery (or whatever is in this State).

I've been wanting a colloidal silver maker; and found one at Utopia Silver
I bookmarked the product in my "current shopping" folder; and told myself that if I don't find one somewhere else I would get it in a few weeks. Two days later, 25% sale on a whole kit. Law of Attraction?

I've had huge allergy symptoms when I moved to Texas. I've also had terrible sinus problems for over 40 years. I've been mega dosing iodine for several months and no help. I needed to see what was causing it. It was getting much worse each day. I considered seeing a NAET specialist. Well it got so bad, I decided to be a traitor to all my holistic lifestyle and see an MD. Even worse, he convinced me to take a course of antibiotics for 10 days. Amazingly, that worked. So many things I tried over the course of 40 years. Darn. All that suffering. Back to my story. I still need to figure out what's causing all my other symptoms anyway. So by fate, I actually found this gadget that is used like Applied Kinesiology
for real cheap. It has helped already. I hope it can let me know which of the vast number of herbs and supplements, I currently take, may really work. It was a great find and by chance. Law of Attraction?

I wonder what's next. For a lifetime (literally), I have been very interested in alt-med and have tried so many things. I'm sure that will just intensify. The leading edge of the baby boom generation is just turning 60. I think the alternative health scene will see much more momentum now. Most of us will be looking toward antiaging. What a journey its going to be.
