Thanks for the warning. I will go slow and build the soil year by year.

Can you educate me on the actions taking place so that I match the adjustments in the soil? There is a proverb: Give me a fish and I eat for a day, teach me to fish and I eat for a lifetime.

I am planning to mulch with my yard clippings and will scavenge the neighborhood in the fall for leaves. I have also applied lots of 4 year old compost(leaves and eggshells) from a friend leaving town.
