'Sorry for the delay in response - I've been using the snippets of spare time I have to assist some liver flushers :)
>>>however we are so much more alike one another that the differences are mere shadow behind the light.<<< Beautifully worded, and oh-so true :)
I will always refer to you as a 'god' (we all are dieties, of course)...but you'll always inspire a 'diety referal' because of all the men I've ever 'met' (excluding my husband of course), you are the most willing to put aside your pre-conceived notions and even your well-researched truths about health topics (AND set aside your opinion of those offering the topic)...and truly examine the information for it's possible validity and truth. And you do that consistently no matter what previous truth of your own (or your ego's own) that you might have to set aside to accomplish truly objective consideration. And then you add your wisdom and knowledge to the topic of consideration and offer your respectful opinion. You know, the opposite of V & T (said with a sad frustrated spirit, NOT a sarcastic humorous one).
>>I appreciate your stepping up and speaking your mind publicly<< And I appreciate your initial post and willingness to utilize the illumination/light of truth...no matter how much time you must invest, waste, OR what others opinion of you may be expressed because of it.
>>This would give the 10% of those that may have trouble taking any form of
Iodine supplementation, with the possible exception of food sources, a fair playing ground... and those that may not need to supplement any more than maintenance a sounding board without fear of being censored or run off.<<
This is IMPERATIVE for balance & truth. In a place where only certain aspects of
Iodine supplementation are allowed to be shared, questioned and commented upon (or they're 'explained away' by the 'pseudo-leaders'...i.e., those that hold the title of leader and such sway with the posters that their word is all that's required to alter others' logic & critical thinking), there will never be found truth. A lie by ommission is still a lie. And basing recommendations and "solid truths" on only the posters that are blindly & willingly to accept the opinions and interpretations of 'pseudo leaders'...is like trying to build a foundation on marshmallow fluff. And it's CERTAINLY the exact OPPOSITE of being a true pioneer in ANY field.
True pioneers and those with intellectually sound logic would NEVER disallow a free flow of information...it's totally counterproductive to finding & realizing the truth.
>>As I stated in my post, perhaps, if the VWT team wants the forum to focus on the Fletchas et. al. protocols and the higher dosages, they can rename it as such and focus on that, and then courteously refer all other protocols that inadvertently intrude on the VWT forum focus, such as Jarvis, Cayce and/or maintenance protocols etc. to the other
Iodine forum where they would be welcome and people can learn about iodine in a much broader scope.<<
'Tis an extremely valid aspect of the truth we're attempted to share and show.
>>There is no denying that this needs to be explored more thoroughly. Especially since iodine is available to the public in many forms. Even if it does, in the long run, pan out to be a short term fix for things like fibrocystic breasts and other such protocols, it will be a very worth while endeavor. I suspect the 12.5mg for women and 8.5mg for men daily dosing is pretty close to correct for maintenance... unless getting a highly absorbable form such as (apparently) the iodine HoW is using. I want to try that...<<
YES! YES! This DOES need to be explored more thoroughly. I've recently had the thought..."let's see, Japanese women have the lowest rate of breast cancer/disease in the world - and the vast majority have NEVER seen a bottle of
Lugol's or a tablet of Iodoral." A true "cure" is never something out of a bottle that needs to be ingested into the body for the rest of one's life (especially true when the body will be detoxing from 100% of the amount ingested daily). Of course, I would recommend iodine supplementation ala Flechas to ANYONE with dis-eases it's known to assist (I would NEVER suggest one should die or be in pain when there's a symptom reliever at the ready). However, a true "cure" means addressing the reason that the dis-ease/symptom appeared in the first place, eliminating/controlling the symptoms, and eliminating the reason for the disease. ALL of the diseases that iodine is known to cure now, have been cured in the past by cleansing organs, proper diet & lifestyle and few supporting herbs or supplements to get the ball rolling. And that involves ZERO risk. And yes, until we've seen what happens to those that are taking FAR more iodine than what the body requires daily for many months & years (evidenced by them urinating out 100% of what's ingested), it's prudent, wise, safe, and NECESSARY to assume there may be some kind of a risk involved.
The research and clinical studies of a handful of allopaths (and zillions of reported cases of cures from high dosages for extremely short periods of time) doesn't even BEGIN to paint an entire picture.
>>This is where the greatest learning occurs... in constructive debate.<<
You're preachin' to the choir, brother Grz!
Your wisdom, maturity and balance are SO refreshing - I'm SO glad that you are you!!

P.S. To anyone I "owe" a reply/post...I'm trying to find the time - I REALLY AM!
