OFF TOPIC - Already knew this

From the first posted alarm about Gov't agencies banning Iodine supplementation, I did my homework, contacted said agencies, and tried (as gently as possible) to refute the claims that individuals would not be able to purchase Iodine supplements. I was shot down, repeatedly, because my concerns were construed as personal attacks against JCrows who occasionally provided valuable information.

My concerns were not personal - they were rational, reasonable, and based upon observation, research, and common sense. "The sky is falling" is the oldest marketing ploy in the book and, if people take the time to look, those posts began a little over 4 months ago when the Iodine Supplementation Discussion Forum was in its infancy.

Hopefully, we've all learned a valuable lesson about panic, misinformation, and marketing. Tweet
