In the lab we often had distillation units with a storage tank, and there was a uv lamp in the storage tank for the very purpose you describe. I was told it was for keeping bacteria from growing. How can bacteria grow in distilled water in a tin-lined vessel ? Easy, the bions described by Wilhelm Reich.

I'm a freeman but don't travel alone. If I find a suitable companion, I'd knock on your door for a nip at some of that Scotch you've got stashed over there. Never been to the land of the Rus. Bet it would be El Grande the firt time around.
