Re: Vertigo Diagnosed "Medical Mystery" but ...
Fledgling, Humaworm, and Poppycane....
Thank you (belatedly) for your warm and encouraging words.
Fledgling, I reciprocate and love your writing as well. Perhaps we could start a mutual admiration society. :)
Humaworm, the latest update is MBM saw her family doc last week. He admitted, "I have never seen a patient in any worse condition than you were." MBM's tanned, bright-eyed, animated face was the best testimony to your parasite cleanse, I'm convinced. When MBM confided to the doc that a parasite cleanse had been the instrument for reclaiming her health, he interjected, "Parasites? IN AMERICA?!" She nodded enthusiastically, thereafter answering more of his questions: "How do you know you had parasites?"
She: "I saw them -- liver flukes and candida".
He: What did they look like?
She: The flukes looked like pieces of rolled up tomato skins. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what all I passed.
He: I'll have to remember this for my other patients.
Poppycane, I like your metaphor of planting seeds.... Perhaps your mother shall one day "see the light" and it may come as a long, slow dawning, so be patient in the meantime. If you think about it, what we have done (and what we are asking our loved ones to do) is accept a radical paradigm shift of huge proportions. Deconstructing infrastructures can be a scary business; our best persuasion, I believe, is our own improved health.
