I truly believe the reason that you should OP first thing in the morning is to remove harmful bacteria that has accumulated in your mouth over night. You need to get rid of that stuff before you swallow it down with water or juice! There are some bacteria that are strongly attracted to oil over any other mouth wash. This bacteria accumulates over time, and the best way to get rid of it is OP. It has to have something to do with the acids in the oil. I'm not sure how unfortunately.

That bacteria that gets bound by the oil must be the buggers that really make you sick. I believe that is why people who OP every day find they just aren't getting colds anymore.

OP will help the damage done by acids in your mouth. I would OP first thing to fight any damage done over the night. As far as right after you drink juice....perhaps you will be best served to OP for a few minutes after you drink. Some people can get naseous after eating and OPing. I think you need to give it a go, but do not do it for the full 20 minutes. Maybe try for 3 minutes.

The reason I say this is that OP seems to minimize tooth sensitivity. I used to have extreme sensitivity (prior to OP) when I drank something acidic...like Champagne! After OPing for awhile, I get no sensitivity to any drinks. So there is some quality to the oil that is helping the enamel.....I wish I knew why?
