What to tell the doctor?

Hi All,

I'm planning to do my second flush next weekend and I want to gather some information from this. I'm planning to see my doctor (who, as it turns out, is a gastroenterologist as well) this Wednesday. I'm going to ask if I can get blood tests done before and after to see if the flush affects my cholesterol levels. I was also planning to ask him about getting the stones tested for cholesterol, olive oil etc.

Any advice on how to approach this? Can anyone think of possible tests that can be done before and after? I haven't been with this doctor for very long, but he seems like a reasonable fellow. I'm hoping he'll be agreeable to my requests. I want to go in with a bit of knowledge so that I don't make a complete fool of myself.
