The "full-on" testimonial will wait a bit longer
I know that I have given testimonials "for now" a time or two or three - and I'll gather those up and put them all into one...
but not yet, for I am venturing into new territory...
The one problem (for me) with the detoxified
Iodine is just plain not being sure yet at what point the detoxification process would be over, and to go on maintenance! Oh, if only I could get a straight answer on what's right for me and my body!
So, I am joining hubby by going on Iodoral (I literally ordered it today and got my confirmation that it will be "sent out today").
I believe I'll be able to work up to the 50mg in short order, and will stay on it for three months. (Unless I feel a need to decrease, time will tell on that one).
Hubby excitedly showed me his toenails...did you see that post? The new growth is pink - the old growth was fungussy yellow. He usually just says, "yeah, I'll keep taking it."
He still won't test his blood
Sugar levels (which is driving me bonkers) but that's because I know him too well. He doesn't want to see abnormal levels and be discouraged. He's definitely been taking 50mg of Iodoral DAILY for 5 weeks now. YAY! And he's already having a reduction (here and there) in his foot pain. But that goes up and down, for he's not sleeping well - the pain is more pronounced IN BED. But he is slowly improving and he won't stop taking the Iodoral - thank God for that!
Pit viper, hmmm, LOL! Yeah, that could apply as well, but yes, the widdle wombats were so cute! Especially the widdle baby one - awww.
Anyway, yes, I'm off the meds - have been since March 1st! I do still occasionally get hypothyroid symptoms, though. I keep thinking, ok, if I go back on iodine, how much? But then, the detoxing could do that too, cuz the sweating or the sunshine or the salt pushes resolve the hypothyroid symptoms for a time as well.
So, at least I know my body will pee out the extra if I take the tablet form, and that's why I'm going that route for the next three months, God willing. And hubby and I will be doing something together, which is never a bad thang!
I love you, girlie!
