holding scar removing business to their word
I have been doing a lot of research to try and discover something that will remove my scars if I ever have the opportunity to subdue the infection on my skin.
I found the website stretchmarks.com a couple of years ago. The site intrigued me because they say that their scar healing program will completely remove scars from the skin. The program is formulated both for stretchmarks and facial scarring (which I have). They say that the program heals the scarring and completely normal skin replaces the scars.
Naturally I found this highly questionable and emailed the company. I stated that I planned on using the program in the near future and that I expected to have my scars removed and have normal skin where the scars were.
Right from the beginning they responded with emails as to why the program wouldn't work for me. First it was one thing then another. Now, it is because I have "DNA damage to the skin brought on by UV radiation" and therefore the program will not work. This is crazy because I do not have any UV damage. They made this "diagnosis" with no pictures and very little information (none of which was about my history of sun exposure or my sun protection habits). Obviously this was just another excuse. They have been looking for "outs" so that they are not accountalble when it doesn't work. It is so obvious what they are doing. They know that their product does not remove scars, as they know that NOTHING removes scars. This has not stopped them from advertising this as something that will erase scars completely.
The minute you tell them that you expect the program to do what they have advertised, it magically becomes ineffective for you (for one reason or another.)
They have scrambled so hard to come up with reasons why the program won't work because they know that I will hold them to their word. Call me crazy, but when someone tells me that this program will remove my scars completely that is what I expect to happen.
Steer clear of this program (and any "scar removal" product in general) because they
don't work. Scars cannot be removed. I have tried for 10 years to remove the scars on my face and they are exaclty the same. This is a truth that has destroyed ever shred of self-confidence that I have.
