kidney stones in kidney - What now?
Hi there. I was just diagnosed with
kidney stones last week for the first time. At the time, the CT scan found a 6mm stone in my UV Junction and 3 other subcentimeter stones in my kidney. Over the weekend, I tried some home remedies involving a cola beverage, asparagus, lemon juice, and olive oil. I also exercised twice per day and drank plenty of distilled water, alternately mixed with lemon juice, cranberry juice, and apple cider vinegar. I had an x-ray done yesterday and brought it to the urologist. Although he could see a few 2 to 3 mm. stones in my kidney, he could not locate any other stones. He said we can safely assume the 6mm one passed, even though I strained every drop and found nothing but mucus and a few minuscule particles.
I was going to try
Celery Seed Tea next, but I'm afraid of the potency of it, as I'm returning to my part-time teaching job on Thursday. I want to rid myself of the stones altogether before they increase in size, but as painlessly as possible. Should I go ahead with the tea, or should I go straight to the kidney cleanse? From what I've read, it seems that a
kidney cleanse is more gradual. Thanks in advance for your help. The pain I experienced last week was worse than childbirth pain and took Morphine in the E.R. to dull it enough to sleep.
