Oh, Harleygyrl, I'm so sorry that you went through all of that!! Not that anything can be done about it now, but just as a note of information with regard to MRSA (and, ONLY MRSA), it can be fatal to lance and drain a MRSA leision. This, I was told, by an attending surgeon, an Infectious Disease specialist, and a guy from CDC. MRSA is a staph, but it's unlike anything experienced before. It is global, and it is deadly, and it is entirely UNDER-reported by physicians, media, and the like. Most medical physicians have no idea what they're looking at when they see a MRSA leision and their first thought is to lance and drain. Supposedly, the CDC has been conducting more workshops with regard to MRSA, but I haven't seen any evidence of it.

The tumeric is an interesting connection. I've also read about cayenne pepper and other detox protocols being helpful. Colloidal Silver has been mentioned with great success - let's not forget the Manuka Honey! LOL!!! Just HOW that helps, I don't know but I sure hope that the gal that keeps recommending it posts an explanation.

The worst part for me was the daily house-decontamination protocols! Holy COW, it was enough just to be able to wake up and ooze out of bed without having to do all of that stuff, every single day. Even still, my husband developed a MRSA, as well - it is almost 100% communicable and had the entire Haddonfield, NJ football team out for weeks.

I got over MRSA in about 2 months, and it was due to MRSA that I discovered that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis - I kept feeling awful even after the leision had healed and it turned out that I wasn't reinfecting, but suffering from the roooomatizz. I know that I'm grateful to be here, roooomatizz and all.
