Detox reaction?

Hi guys,

I started taking the Lugol solution eight days ago.I started with one drop and have worked up to three drops now.I'm also taking vit C,selenium, mag citrate and salt loading.On the whole,detox reactions haven't been too bad but I woke up yesterday with a swollen lower right eye-lid.I thought it was because the AC was blasting through the vent (one is next to my bed)but today I had to visit the DR to discuss my cholesterol results(baaaaaaaad)and he said it's a sty.Do you think it's a detox reaction?I used to suffer with sinus probs before discovering CZ so maybe the Iodine is kicking out gunk?The Dr prescribed ciprofloxacin 0.3%drops.I really don't want to take it as I don't do Antibiotics anymore.

Another thing,would Iodine help my inherited high cholesterol?
