Re: O/T sunscreen, ozone and global warming
I don't believe in global warming either, at least not the fact that we humans are solely responsible. The earth warms up and cools down all by itself. But as for the hole in the ozone. I do believe that. I have lived my whole life living under it and I see it's effects. I have seen the photographs. Even if it weren't for the ozone hole, I still live on the Tropic of Capricorn and you have to feel how fierce the sun is here to have any idea of what I am talking about. In summer, on a 110 degree (in the shade) day, you can literally feel the sun eating your skin off your back.
And yes, I limit my exposure, where possible, but trust me, it's not as easy as you would think. They don't call it Sunny Queensland for nothing. Our summer lasts 9 months of the year - no I am not kidding!
I have gone to using an all natural sunscreen, and only on my face, but it is winter right now. And even though it is winter, it is a very sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. Of course I wear a hat in summer, whenever possible, and sunglasses everywhere I go. I just don't know how to make you understand, I live in SKIN CANCER central! And if sunscreen won't protect me, then I need to figure out what will.
