morgellons treatment strategy

Anyone hear of the stratton/vanderbilt protocol? I just came across this info. The concept is very interesting in that it doesnt specifically target parasites but focuses on the immune system. The theory is that immune dysfunction occurs secondary to chronic infection by chlamydia pneumoniae aka walking or community acquired pneumonia. The treatment protocol presented is intense regimen of Antibiotics .

More over.... there is no promotion involved and it is backed by medical research (Dr Charles Sratten of Vanderbilt University of tennessee)

again, all this info is FREE ... no buying or selling of snake oil (some products do appear to be endorsed but only as one of many topical treatment options)

from wickipedia:

Other illnesses caused by Chlamydophila pneumoniae
In addition to pneumonia, Chlamydophila pneumoniae less commonly causes several other illnesses. Among these are meningoencephalitis (infection and inflammation of the brain and spinal cord), arthritis, myocarditis (inflammation of the heart), and Guillain-Barré syndrome (inflammation of the nerves). It has also been associated with dozens of other conditions, such as Alzheimer's, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Prostatitis, and many others.

one of the sites is purely medical outlining the stratton/vanderbilt protocol while the other discusses environmental, natural, topical as well as medical options
