the first day after a fast you usually only get very light food like 1/2 apple and a dessert bowl of veggie soup or a small salad. So if you had that once a week you'd be hungry like in the beginning of the fast for about 3 following days. It would just make it a lot harder to fast. And your digestive system maybe wouldn't work up to speed. It takes 2-3 days to get it up and running after a fast.How about just having fresh made veggie broth with some good oil like virgin coconut oil and a small amount low salt boullion for nutrition. It won't start your digestive system the same way. Also fresh veggie and fruit juices have lots of nutrition. Maybe you could go 10days juice fasting and 10 days on light healthy fare alternating. You'll loose weight and get enough nutrients. But if you have good quality produce that shouldn't be a problem. Eating no oil can dry out the skin some. So adding a little oil to the broth. I don't know if that'll make you hungry- I'm just experimenting with that myself.
