Re: Gallbladder Dysfunction, No Stones! No Inflammation!
One thing to keep in mind is that it's possible to have
Gallstones that aren't calcified and therefore not visible in ultrasound.
Gallbladder is triggered by intake of fatty foods and if pain is present when eating fatty acid meals it's possible that the gallbladder is trying to contract (as normal) but blockage may be present (or maybe misplacement/kinked duct).
Stomach acid production also triggers healthy liver/gallbladder function - taking ppi/antacids will greatly disturb not only protein digestion (requires acidic medium) but it cascades into improper fatty acid digestion if it impacts proper bile flow.
Anger is the emotion connected with the liver/gallbladder meridian so it emphasizes the need to focus on that area.
A couple things that may be useful can be thinning down the bile so that it flows properly - sludge accumulated from improper liver drainage can thicken the bile and trigger gallbladder issues. Juice from red beet leaves is used to accomplish this (also contained in A-F Betafood by Standard process).
The likely fatty acid deficiency due to ongoing liver/glabladder needs to be addressed so you may want to consider taking some bile salts (like cholacol by SP) or emulsified EFAs/oil soluble vitamins for rapid absorption.
Also the usage of ppi's propably disrupted stomach acid production so it's possible that you suffer from protein maldigestion (and subsequently aminoacid deficiency).
Digestive enzymes and additional HCl when needed can help improve overall digestion.
Liver Flushes are likely helpful if blockage is suspected. A combination of herbs can help detoxify the liver (I personally like Xymogen Medcaps DPO ingredient combination).
