i know people with glaucoma so i want to get this as correct as i can.

he was slated for surgery. he saw surgery as preferable to eye drops? what could the possible side effects be that surgery would be prefferable to?

was he doing anything else for his condition? glaucoma is many times associated with diabetes. is he diabetic?
