Re: Raw Cow's milk vs Raw Goat's Milk ?

Taste of goat milk is breed dependent,what they are eating, and the cleanliness of the dairy. We raise Registered Saanens, and it tastes no different than fresh Jersey cow milk...actually it's a bit sweeter. I have had people who swore "I'd never drink goat milk" eat their hat after trying ours, and ask for more. If the milk is fresh, and the goats are eating fresh pasture, there shouldn't be that great of a difference in taste between goat vs. cow milk. I have had customers tell us that their kids will drink our milk - but not milk from other farms, with breeds such as Toggenberg, or Alpine. Tweet
