Minerals and Teeth

I read a string below about minerals and teeth, and I have observed something about my teeth that I thought was interesting, and possibly helpful.

I noticed a couple of years ago when I first started Liver Flushing that my teeth would often grow quite sensitive. Since I was aware of a possible potassium deficiency, I would usually take about 400mg of potassium, and the sensitivity would pass. Recently, after taking a trace mineral product high in magnesium, I developed signs of low potassium(for me, that is interstitial cystitis). So I took a total of 600mg of potassium spread throughout the day. Oddly, I developed sensitive teeth, something I usually associated with high magnesium/low potassium.

Since I have been taking iodine, and had been on a 5 day break, I took my regular dose of Iodine the next day. I quickly began noticing that my teeth were desensitizing. Later that day when I took 200mg of magnesium the rest of the pain faded.

It seems to me that iodine, magnesium, and potassium play a big role in teeth health. I also use between 350-700mg of calcium a day, but haven't seen any connection with my calcium and my teeth sensitivity, though I'm sure calcium is important to healthy teeth.

In the string below about minerals and teeth, one person experience severe, rapid teeth damage while trying to alkalize. It seems to me that the importance of Iodine and potassium in teeth has been overlooked, and my explain why some people have tooth issues as they increase their alkalizing minerals.
