Question for D.????? Umeboshi

Hi D. and anyone else who knows,I bought some Umeboshi and tasted one,Very unusual,Are they supposed to taste kind of bitter and sour and very strong all at the same time,or did I get spoiled ones???????????
I am trying to save my gall bladder and any help is appreciated.I have been struggling for 3 months now,Thanks,Jim Tweet
