Re: Can liver cleans be done before amalgam removal?
Although I am not certain that my dental
Amalgams are causing me problems, I do know that I've had a problem with candida overgrowth for many years.
I was first diagnosed with it by an allergist in 1999, and an allergy blood test for candida albicans came up positive. I was treated with several rounds of Nystatin, and have been on a very restricted candida diet ever since. I've tried allergy shots, Diflucan, Candistroy(Nature's Secret), and even Intravenous Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy. All of these definitely caused my symptoms to subside, even to dissapear, however, my symptoms would return shortly after I stopped the treatments, or anytime that I've strayed from my limited diet. I am an Alkalarian, which means I eat mostly fresh vegetables(alkaline foods) and some alternative grains (millet and Buckwheat),but no wheat, yeast,or
Sugar ever.Nothing fermented either.
I've read that others who have tried these therapies, especially the Hydrogen Peroxide, had lasting results and could eventually eat more normally.
I'm confused as to why my allergies keep returning. It's quite possible that I have some liver damage due to my overuse (abuse actually) of
Antibiotics when I was a teenager. You see I would go from one doctor to the next for tetracycline or eurythromycin for my skin problems (acne, eczema, psoriasis) and was continuously on
Antibiotics for about 3 years straight, with little or no breaks between rounds. (I know it was stupid, but I was a kid at the time, this was during the 80's.)
Anyway,(I can never seem to make my messages short) I suspect my
Amalgams may be a factor, and I've read that you need to detoxify your bowels before doing a liver cleanse.
I have a constant metallic taste in my mouth, and I'm always tired.I don't think it would be bad for me if I had my
Amalgams removed, I think it would only benefit me. I've had them since I was about seven years old (about 25yrs.now) and I've had allergy/immunity problems since I was a baby.
THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY! How did you go about finding a dentist who was agreeable to
Amalgam replacement? About how much did it cost you? I haven't looked into it yet, but I would appreciate any advice.
