The nurse at my doctor's office gave me the same bull even after I asked her what to do if you don't have periods any more. I just waited a couple of days, called back and lied and said I was spotting. They took it out the next day. I didn't feel a damn thing. That nurse insisted that it would be way too uncomfortable to take out if I wasn't on my period. I felt like running out in the hall and looking for her afterward to say HAH! I lied and had it out anyway and didn't feel a thing. I didn't even have any cramping later in the day like the doc said I might!
