Hi, Momma!
Only use brewed, caffeinated, organic coffee. PTree has included a message with a link to a site that explains technically what happens during a
coffee enema to the liver that is very good.
Also, they have coffee and an enema kit for sale, if you'd like to buy over the internet. The prices seem reasonable to me. I cannot vouche for the company or the products, because I have not used them, but the company CLAIMS it is recommended as a supplier by the Gerson Institute. I could not find this recommendation on the Gerson Site. Doesn't mean it is not there, though.

Their recipe for making the
coffee enema includes the amount for one enema, held in two to three 12 minute increments:
"Put a little over 1
quart of clean water in a pan and bring it to a boil. Add 2 flat tablespoons of coffee (or the coffee amount that has been prescribed for you). Let it continue to boil for five minutes, then turn the stove off, leaving the pan on the hot burner.
Allow it to cool down to a very comfortable, tepid temperature. Test with your finger. It should be the same temperature as a baby's bottle. It's safer to have it too cold than too warm; never use it hot or steaming; body temperature is good."
On the Curezone, they give a recipe for making enough for approximately four enemas. It is a concentrate which you later dilute (after cooking it). It is found at:

"
coffee enema Recipe:
In a non-metal pot or saucepan:
empty 4 cups of filtered or distilled water
3/4 cup of organic coffee enema (finely ground) from health store. Stir in the coffee to make sure all is mixed in the water, then: bring to a boil and boil for 3 to 5 minutes (while stirring occasionally). Reduce heat and cover pot or saucepan with lid and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes"
This is the one I use, as it more convenient for me. I usually store what I don't use immediately in the freezer.
Hope this has been helpful to you!
