Re: Would you share what your diet is like?
We eat like you, Humaworm, a variety of real foods prepared at home. Unfortuanely, we didn't always eat this way. We started about 4 years ago when we realized my husband and daughter are very chemical sensitive. We need to avoid food colorings and synthetic additives like the plaque. Hopefully one day I will find the reason for their sensitivity so if they do ingest some it does not cause a reaction.
The benefits:
Real food tastes really good.
You can't beat the family time spent in the kitchen. My younger daughter(12) loves to bake...if I could only get her to clean up.
On a sad note, her friend was over and they wanted to make cookies. Her friend asked, "Where is the mix?" My daughter told her that we don't use a mix. As they were making the cookie dough, her friend was using a measuring cup and tells me that she learned about measuring cups in school but has never used one.
