Please quote the woman correctly. She said an OVERDOSE of Iodine causes Infections.

As Iodine is a powerful Antibiotic/Antiseptic, I believe that it could cause exactly that, when OVERDOSED, as does ANY antibiotic. If you take enough to kill off your intestinal flora, you will get a rebound effect!

It is absolutely ridiculous to say that you cannot overdose an a trace mineral. Hoxsey died of Prostate Cancer -- yes, even using his own Iodine therapy. Gerson died of Arsenic poisoning.

So, if YOUR dose of Iodine is working for YOU, I say fine. But, do not tell me that some are ignorant because they are cautious, especially after they've experienced unwanted effects from their Iodine supplementation. Get real.

I've always maintained that Iodine is good medicine, but to throw caution to the wind, is another matter. Tweet
