Beginning a LONG water fast tomorrow!
I hate to set weight loss goals for myself because i really stink at reaching those goals. But i'm going to do it anyway. I plan to
Water Fast for 49 days (7 weeks) for 2 reasons: 1) Buddha fasted for 49 days and I would love to try and accomplish this as well (show myself that I have the mental strength); and 2) I would love to finally be able to say that my weight is in the teens!.
So Friday the 13th of April will be the first day of my fast, and if things go as planned, I will break my fast on June 1st.
I know it is an extremely long time to go without food, but I know that I have more than enough body fat to see me through this. Mind you, my main reason for fasting is for weight loss, so if I reach my weight loss goal in less than 49 days I may stop my fast earlier (unless I am in such a heightened, spiritual state that I feel that I can reach 49, then that would be excellent and I would continue!)
God help me through this!!!
