I've done my own human testing...on me. If I have Silver Colloid from even slightly less refined silver electrodes--three niner, for example--I get tinnitus, ringing in the ears. Even 99.95 silver is unacceptable as inducing tinnitus. I would suggest that Silver Colloid increases the bioavailablity of those contaminant metals like copper and lead. I therefore need the purest fine silver electrodes to use with the purest distilled water available.

I talked with Wild Oats' main office in Boulder, Colorado, regarding their commercial Silver Colloid. Boulder is an old mining town and they still have metallurgical testing, which Wild Oats has had done on their Silver Colloid products. They said they were concerned with heavy metal contamination in some of the products made available to them. With my tinnitus, this is a vexing issue that demands care. I called precious metal supplier Handey & Harmon regarding five niner silver and they said it would have to be batch run on special order at a hefty price.
