"Because I really don"t keep very good records so if you are the Smith in Naked Scienco's about the China Gold..... was not going to answer, who wants to do that boring reference stuff. But it actually appeared right in front of my many piles of paper.
"The girls name is Yueling Chen and won the first gold medal in the Olympic walking event. The first Asian woman and the first Chinese athlete, man or woman to win a Olympic track and field event. It appears she won it at the Barcelona Olympics."
Indeed, Doc, I am the same "Greg Smith" as on the other discussion forum who was wondering about this Olympic gold winner from China. You might want to check a few more of your facts, though. From doing a little of that "boring research stuff", I've discovered the product did not exist in 1992 as a commercially available supplement (A*******e was not introduced in the U.S. until 1995, according to the M****tech web site). While it's certain that Ms. Chen had some sort of involvement with M****tech later on, it's doubtful she even heard of "glyconutrients" in 1992. My guess is her gold medal was earned entirely by hard training and discipline ... not from any help from A*******e.
