My GALLBLADDER experience and the importance of TYPE of i o d i n e

I've got to pop in here.

My daughter and I have Celiac disease (can't eat wheat, rye, oats, or barley) and we tested for it when daughter was SIX!

why?

Because she presented with gallbladder trouble at that age! (I got tested because I've had digestive problems for years!)

I have no doubts (not willing to try it just yet) but I have no doubts we'll be able to have the occasional glutenous product again once our "bodily storehouses" have resaturated with Iodine again.

Interesting note, though, about the TYPE of iodine.

You see, when we did the patch test with the inexpensive 2% tincture solution, my patch disappeared in about 12 hours, but my now-ten-year-old daughter's patch was still visible after 24 hours!

However, after I got the stuff I ordered, and painted a patch on both of us, it absorbed in about ONE HOUR on me, and just a FEW HOURS on her!

Instinctively, I KNEW she was Iodine deficient!

Thank you, Vulcanel, for this information...it's continued confirmation!
