Stay with the procedure diet and enema until the occult fecal blood test shows no blood.The 3 month time was just an estimate.It's too early now but in a month or two you can try the occult fecal blood test.Yes, food allergies ,emotional distress,fungal and bacterial infection can cause colon wall irritation and delay or stop the healing.Also a low vitamin/mineral blood level.This is the reason you should stay with the procedure diet.Why risk a positive healing result just to try a new food.Plenty of time to do that after the CURE.Thank you for the posting.sheldon
