Re: Trying to get off blood pressure medications

thank you soo very much for the advice and the long post. I am still nursing my 14 month old son so rather than dieting I have just been eating healthy and actually I am following a plan now called "You on a diet". Its based on 5 small healthy meals a day, walking 10,000 steps per day and weight training twice a week. I am 6 feet tall so I carry the weight well but its mainly around my middle and I know its un healthy. I do have a lot of chocolate cravings that I'm trying to overcome. The reason I wanted to do oral chelation is because I thought my high bp could be from clogging arteries but I am nearly 27. It could also be from the excess weight and I will lose this weight I am determined. Actually I was much bigger so far I have lost 50 lbs since the birth of my son, but I have about another 40 to go and like I said its mainly in my stomach area. I want to be as healthy as I can be and not be on bp pills anymore. I will try all the suggestions that you stated. I do plan to nurse my son until is 2 years old and if he has not weaned himself by them then I will start the weaning process. I come from a family of women who have a 2 year minimum when it comes to nursing.
