Good news on your dad. Oh, it is so sad and scary what the hospital people believe! When my mother was in the hospital coming out of her coma, the doctor would walk in in the afternoon after she had endured an hour or so of strenuous therapy and when I had seen her awake and she tried to communicate with me (she had a tube down her throat at the time, so it was really hard). He couldn't get a reaction out of her because she was wiped out by that time, so he'd conclude that she was still comatose. And they pumped her with psycho-active drugs to wake her up which I still think messed up her brain to some extent. Yes, those doctors are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO knowledgeable. It is to laugh (or cry).
