Re: burning throat and tongue acid reflux or candida

I never actually had a feeling of acid in the throat. I had a tender spot around where my colar bones meet and my vocal cords seemed off. In the morning it felt like I had the beginning of a sore throat. Until the day when all hell broke loose and I couldn't eat or drink even water... Then I was not really sleeping. I would dose off but wake up chocking. I was always in the sitting position of course. I am now sleeping in the normal position!

I did not take the ACV (Natural Apple Cider Vinegar) straight. Normally I would take a tablespoon dilutated in about 8oz. of water when I felt pain or pressure after eating. It did not burn, but did make it kind of scratchy in the beginning when I was irritated. I sipped it slowly and the effects could be felt within 30min. Either big burps, or gurgling in the stomach and the pressure would relieve - or if I had a burning feeling, I could feel it move lower and lower - until it was gone.

I had food allergy (Blood work - IgE)and food intolerances (Blood Work IgG/IgG4) and also Prick Testing done. Although I don't have a gluten intolerance, I am highly sensitive to it right now (Wheat, Rye, Barley, Spelt). Also Potatoes, Eggs, Casein (milk protein), Peanuts, Cashews, some beans, soya, bananas... and a few other vegetables. The degree of intolerance is variable... and the goal is to reintroduce all of these foods (I am not allergic to them). It is now possible for me to feel when I've had something that does not sit right. I get agitated or anxious, get moody or hard headed. These were a lot of the foods I was eating on a regular basis, which led to a treatment for Leaky Gut.

As for the Probiotics, I have started taking them. I use BioCare Intensive of something like that.

And the swallowing... It was as if the food was just stuck there. Constantly like a lump behind the chest. I would need to drink water to get it down and even then it didn't always feel like it moved. But that is also gone now.

Hope this helps
