Re: A link to the method
Okay, I'm a little excited, but not sure if it's psychological at this point. (smile)
I've taken your advice on the jump method. It appears to be working.
I am going to re-visit with my doctor, as I may have a hiatal hernia versus reflux. I'm normally hunched over my desk all day at work and in need of ridding more than a few pounds. I'm thinking this may be the cause for the problem as well.
I normally only have reflux that feels as if something is stuck in my throat. I do not have any burning sensation, just extreme discomfort. Almost as if my throat is closing up on me. I do produce a little extra mucus, but this could be due to my asthma as well. Now that I understand the different feeling in reflux, I no longer fear the feeling of having a heart attack.
I noticed yesterday I had a turkey sandwich for lunch, which seem ed fine, but an hour later I could feel something rising up in my throat (esophagus)...I did not even eat dinner last nite, fear of returning problems. The symtoms lasted well over 8 hours.
Today, I had an apple for breakfast along with 2 crackers. I had another apple at lunch (large). Within an hour, the symptoms were returning.
I just want to say...after your advice..I had a smaller apple, along with a 16
oz bottle of water. I actually jumped 5x..and the symptoms seem to be disappating. I have not taken my daily dose of Protonix and will not take it the rest of the week. I will continue with your suggestion to see how it works the rest of the week.
I can say I have felt a remarkable difference within all of 15 minutes..so maybe it's a hiatal hernia afterall. I will keep you informed on how I'm doing.
Thanks so much for your suggestion...this might be the trick that cures me!
