Re: My cure for 'acid' reflux
What I was describing as "acid" reflux was like a big burp with a small amount of vomit when you are asleep. The vomit would burn your throat and get in your airways, even into your lungs. It is caused by LOW stomach acid.Your food is not being digested properly. My stomach was not making enough acid. This is very common as you age. But when I do a liver flush, Huda Clark style, my stomach resumes making enough acid for awhile, usually around three months.
If you are burping alot you may have LOW stomach acid. To see if you do, DON'T take anti acids. Buy some BETAINE HYDROCHLORIDE
at a health food store. Drug store don't have it and most of the time the pharmacist does not know what it is. Take a couple of 500 mg pills with a meal and see if your stomach settles down. If the betaine hydrocloride pills cause your stomach to have a burning or warm feel you can neutralize the acid by drinking some milk or taking an anti acid like Tums, Alka Seltzer, or Rollaids.
If on the other hand your stomach settles down and you feel better, then you will have to find the dose that works for you.
My dose is three or four 500 mg pills per meal. Two pill will not stop the diarrhea and five pills constipates me.
If you do a
Liver Flush your stomach may start digesting your food better and no more burps. Good luck in your search.
