I also wondered if they really hanged him too. Mainly because of the conflicting reports if you noticed them on the news. I thought it was a public hanging ya know like the ol days but obviously not since it showed him in a small room with about 3-4 people it looked to be tops. Some of the reporters were telling us his last words and some of their reports were not the same, this was misinformation. At first you got the impression that they were there and one reporter said a american would be there to make sure he was hanged but later a report came in that no american was there because they decided they would not get involved and leave this up to the iraqis. You only saw them putting the rope around his neck and then him laying covered up on the floor. I know they didn't want to show him gasping for air but you can't help but wonder if they really did hang him. Since it seems rather a private affair at least from the footage we saw. We could have made some deals with him in exchange for keeping him alive and hidden , even though I doubt it but anything is possible at this point. What kind of deals we could have made I don't know but will we every really know unless we fly ourself to Iraq and see the body ourself?
