i found out the species of the tree i am using by googling "pine trees + my geographic area + images" then i just kept looking at the various images and found it.

since white tiger is using white pine, i am using red pines, sounds like you have been using douglas fir, so many different types will work.

i have done lots of wildcrafting, so i am not afraid to just try it. i go out into the woods and get lots of different stuff and try it.

i really believe any long needled pine will work fine. my only question is about the short needled pines. Tweet
