Re: mixed emotions??

"What are your thoughts about the war and what should we be doing now?" I just thought my gosh thats the same thing they are talking about on capitol hill. When I said I started to think they should pull out of Iraq it was about a year or maybe a few months more or at least something had to change in that time slot.I think there was only a small space of time they could have pulled out and worked at it at a different angle ( more undercover at all angles) but now I think they have stayed too long and there is more threats to the country because of it and are afraid to totally withdraw and I think its possible they are right. So now it seems they are trying to fix it which I wonder now if its fixable. I still think they should consider doing something different in regards to the borders. Sorta feels like they lost their chance to secure our borders. The Mexican immigrants coming over in droves around this time was the distraction and in my opinion kept this from happening. The timing was terrible.Its At times like these I hate the political thing. The Rep and Dem need to put their differences aside and work together like they never have before and prove to the America public they all have our best interest at heart. If they keep working at this thing from a political point of view I don't think we will ever recover.
