Re: Why Green/White Tea and Aloe Vera capsules for pets?

Both boost the immune system and both are supposed to help attack cancer cells. Both aloe vera and green & white tea extracts are high in antioxidants. Aloe vera is very alkaline. Acemannan is the active ingredient in Aloe Vera - this is the basis for the Carravet Acemannan Immunostimulant Injections. I gave my dog the Aloe Vera in capsule form additionally to the Injections as she only got them once a week, then once every ten days and finally once every two weeks.

Aloe Vera can actually cause diarrhea when given in large amounts - it has a laxative effect. In the final stages I gave my dog 100% pure aloe vera juice with no additives (you can buy it only at one online dealer), I gave her up to two tablespoons a day - worked my way up to that amount. The acemannan content is the highest available. The name of the product is AloePur from Santaverde.

As I mentioned before, I would not expect a cure from these products, however an extension of life and good quality of life. Lucky had excellent quality of life until the day before she (naturally) crossed over. If I would have to do it all over again, I would do it exactly the same way again.
