Re: bad news

Hello Kamkos,
Good information. If you stay on the procedure diet, you will not flare.Yes,the extra stress is a factor. However, cookies, bread, pork etc,is the major factor. You must stay on the diet strictly until you heal CURED(no blood).Any wrong foods will open healing sores and delay healing. The previous diet was working well.Stay with those foods. If possible, take some blood tests to see if you are low on some nutrients.
An irritated colon does not absorb nutrients well and
the body needs the proper level of nutrients for healing. If necessary, the added nutrients are easily and inexpensively available.A food allergy is possible.Your past experience is a guide.Stay with the diet,it is healthy and will also prevent other serious health problems later in life.Again good posting.sheldon

Ulcerative colitis is considered incurable
because it was not CURED after it's first occurrence.Cover up
medications do not heal.Refined processed food will keep small colon sores open.
People return to their old refined food diet too soon. This will later
open the sores when a colon irritating condition comes
along. There is no magic bullet.Eat an ALL proper diet,
until you are healed(CURED),taking months or use your medication
and refined foods for many years. It's your choice. There
must not be blood shown using a fecal occult blood
test purchased at a drugstore to show a CURE has take
place.
