Hi nanner,

For your yard you may want to apply some Lime each year to supply some extra Calcium which may help the soil Life !

Try to "never" use anymore Insecticides or Pesticides as both may Cause you to become more Acidic !

If you want green grass, you may use the commercial fertilizer called DAP, it is Diammonium Phosphate or called 18-46-0, which means it has 18 units of Nitrogen and 46 units of phosphate !

This is a good product to use, and will not harm the soil, if used in moderation !

Like you can use 100# per 44,000 sq feet each month, after you have applied Lime first !

The Lime does not need to be applied each month !

You may use this DAP each month to keep green grass , but you need water !

This may be easier for most people to have nice lawns, and is not harmful !

The harmful commercial fertilizer component may be muriate of potash, for this will Kill the soil Life !

Also the use of many Nitrogen products is not good !

But, the DAP may be safe to use !

The DAP will increase the Brix readings of the Grass and you may have less Toxic weed problems !

The Molasses and Fish poop fertilizer may be better, but you need some Lime first also !

This gives you a better and wider choice !

"IF" you choose to use any commercial fertilizer other than the DAP, do not use anything which has any number beside 0 at the end of the tag, like 18-46-0 or 10-34-0, these may be ok, but if it has like 10-10-10 or 10-20-10, then it may have muriate of potash in it , for the last number is the Potash !
