For years and years (as long as I could remember) I had a brown speck in the blue part of my eye. Always the same size - never changing all those years. Finally, it started to get larger so I went to an eye specialist. It was a cancerous tumor and I had to have it removed. This is NOT to scare you. My brother also has one and is in his late forties and his has never grown or changed. The same doctor who removed mine because it was growing, said that my brothers did not need to be removed. He goes and has it checked every 6 months. You should have it looked at by a specialist.
